Pinnacle Equity Solution's Exit Planning Chapter Meetings are where the industry's best trained and most committed professional advisors and consultants gather to 'learn and earn' with and from each other. Our next North Shore Chapter meeting will be held Thursday, September 15th.
Pinnacle's Chapter meetings are designed as half-day educational sessions for the Members of Pinnacle's training program. However, due to the growing demand for the inclusion of a larger group of professional advisors, we are inviting non-members to attend our networking and educational session from 7:30 until 10:00.
Pinnacle Members have access to the half-day of training and business development curriculum and networking. Our guests can meet the Members who are quarterbacking exit plans and honing their practices to fill specialized niches within the exit planning engagements.

- 8:30 - 10:00 am: Guest Speaker, Laura Kevghas, Top ten rules for evaluating unsolicited offers, and how you can quarterback the process for your client, including knowing which other advisors to bring into the process and when.

- 10:15 - 12:00 pm: Case Study Session - Learn from other advisors who are actively working with clients on exit plans and promote your business by providing solutions to the business owner's situation.
Speaker

Laura Kevghas,brings to Mirus more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a background that includes both investment banking and corporate development. Laura’s unique background on both sides of the table informs her negotiating, structuring and due diligence activities on behalf of her clients. Over her career, Laura has completed more than 60 transactions, including the sale of companies in the business services, defense and government services, manufacturing and software sectors, along with the acquisition of numerous companies in the media space. Laura is on the Board of The Exit Planning Exchange, and a member of Vistage. Her article "Thinking About Cashing Out? How to Create Value in Your Business" has been featured in The Commonwealth Institute online e-newsletter and her published piece titled "Help! Someone Wants to Buy My Company" in the Boston Women's Business newspaper. Laura has been a speaker on topics ranging from “Preparing Your Company for Sale” to “The State of the Mergers & Acquisitions Market” for groups of business owners, early-stage entrepreneurs and attorneys.
Chapter Leader

Stephen T. Vesey, CPA, CVA graduated from Salem State College where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In practice for 30 years, he was awarded the US Small Business Administration Accountant Advocate for Massachusetts in 1985. Besides focusing on personal and corporate tax planning, Steve is the practice's Business Valuation and Exit Strategies Specialist. He also is an expert witness. "The success of my practice is directly related to the quality of my staff. Each one of them brings a different talent to the table and each one is a wonderful person as well. Clients tell me how comfortable my staff makes them feel." Steve enjoys his involvement with numerous charitable organizations and non-profits while sitting on multiple boards of directors. His six children have given him nine grandchildren, but he still manages to find time for golf.
